Consulting, LLC(Work-from-home - US location) Position OverviewAs a
Life Consulting Actuary you will work with a team of industry
professionals on regulatory consulting engagements. - This position
has opportunity for advancement as well as personal and
professional growth.Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist on
client engagements including: prepare original actuarial analysis,
coordinate with internal resources, develop client relationships,
advise project team on potential solutions and strategies to meet
project goals and client needs, assist with resolution of issues,
adhere to project budget and timelines, document work in a thorough
and understandable manner, support growth of the life actuarial
practice.Prioritize client work to successfully meet deadlinesUse
creativity to apply core competencies to a range of different types
of client projectsLead and support client engagementsDocument
examination work as it is completed in Teammate and in TeamDocs for
other projectsManage key client relationshipsResponsible for client
service qualityCultivate networks inside and outside the
firmExhibit strong communication skills, professionalism and work
ethicApply strong technical understandingLead responding to
RFPsDevelop proposal contentContribute in key thought leadership
areas through presentations, articles, and committee
participationSupport certain key infrastructure items, such as
implementing new software.Contribute to the intellectual capital of
the practice and Firm.Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in
Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Statistics; MBA
and/or professional certification/sMinimum of 10+ years
professional experience in a Life insurance company, financial
services or consulting firm. Experience must include consulting.ASA
orFSA required, MAAA designation preferredKnowledge of actuarial
concepts: financial modeling and analysis, statutory valuation and
reserving, risk management, product development and pricing,
embedded value, Asset Liability Management (ALM), actuarial
software,life, annuity and reinsurance productsAbility to interact
with all levels including executives and senior managersStrong
interpersonal, presentation, analytical and statistical
skillsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
multiple tasks, projects and assignmentsExceptional written and
verbal communication skills are requiredDynamic/flexible demeanor
with exceptional client service skillsMust be self-motivated and
possess a sense of urgencySkilled in team building and team
developmentAbility to travel: including working in local office and
