A leading critical access hospital based in northern Maine is
now seeking a dynamic Surgical Services Nurse Director to joint
their award-winning healthcare team!This organization provides a
variety of services including emergency care, general surgery, and
maternal health services, ensuring patients receive quality care
across multiple disciplines. Renowned for its commitment to

Chief Nursing Officer, the Surgical Services Nurse Director will
lead an efficient and dedicated team in a dynamic healthcare
environment overseeing 2 Operating Rooms and managing a team 11
direct reports. Tasked with orchestrating roughly 60+ surgeries
weekly, the Nurse Director will ensure seamless operations while
maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. Daily
responsibilities include supervising surgical staff, overseeing
pre-operative and post-operative care, streamlining workflow
processes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The
ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, the
ability to foster teamwork, and a drive for surgical
