- Job Details
- The Certified Scrub Technician is responsible for the safe, sterile set up and handling of all surgical instrumentation during scheduled and emergency surgical cases.
- This includes gathering of all necessary instrumentation and supplies noted on surgeons pick sheets.
- The employee must be conscientious with regards to procedures and capable of accepting pressure assignments, clerical assignments and other duties relative to the department.
- They must maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
  - Job Requirements
  - Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program
  - Possesses a current ORT certification
  - Current OR experience is essential
  - BCLS required
  - Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel, hospital personnel, medical staff and sales and repair reps
