POSITION OVERVIEW: Position is located in Stamford, CT The Senior Manager will work proactively across the organization to identify, champion and act on strategic research and information needs. This position involves extensive research design, primary and secondary research synthesis and reporting, and research project management activities supporting product and marketing functional groups across Spectrum Enterprise. This individual will report to the VP, Strategy and manage external research consultants and lead vendors to deliver against a highly strategic set of research objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES: Efficiently and effectively manage appropriate partnerships, vendors, contractors, consultants, etc.Keep abreast and report on key industry and product trends.Support various teams across Spectrum Enterprise by providing overviews of the competitive environment.Manage Spectrum Enterprise customer research panel, including replenishment, survey programming and analysis of results.Work collaboratively with internal teams on a variety of research projects.Manage multiple primary research projects, including advertising testing, product usability, and satisfaction and brand health trackers.Manage weekly research newsletter that delivers key industry and consumer observations to a variety of internal clients.Create and maintain a dashboard of leading customer attitudinal performance indicators.Support budgeting and expense management. REQUIREMENTS:Five or more years of Project management experience Eight or more years of Research experience Outstanding ability to communicate orally and in writing with a clear and straightforward mannerAbility to manage the complete research process, including outside agencies, partners, consultants and vendorsKnowledge of all major research methodologies, commonly-used concepts and practices related to data mining, leading companies, associations, publications, industry trends and innovationsKnowledge of B2B communication products and servicesExperience working with qualitative and quantitative research methodologiesAbility to analyze and interpret data to make recommendations based on analysis and expertiseAbility to identify research necessary to address a multitude of business needsExperience interpreting and summarizing secondary data (e.g. Gartner, Forrester, IDC, etc.)Resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects at onceAbility to maintain confidentiality (and honor all Charter customer privacy requirements)Ability to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish jo
