Job Description Empower Innovation is looking for an engineering
manager. This is a new role and we look forward to shaping the
experience with you. Key roles and responsibilities will include
managing the Innovation pipeline and supporting the sector's
innovators with connecting, researching, and gaining alignment on
their innovation ideas. This role will also engage with the
business on campaign specific needs, including problem statement,
budgeting and crowdsource strategy. This leader should be a
self-starter, curious and excited to learn about the Sector, our
strategy, key capabilities, and emerging technologies. This role
will also include a focus on supporting internal entrepreneurial
strategies, developing traction, and learning more about our
organizational and strategic processes. Other expectations include
working closely with peers and to collaborate across the sector to
lead efforts analyzing our portfolio to enable the sector to make
data driven, market aligned technology strategy decisions to
influence our future growth. You will also play a key role
supporting targeted market analysis and sector wide strategic
initiatives.This role should be considered as a 2-3 year rotational
experience with growth opportunity in Strategy & Planning and
across the sector, building from learning more about the Sector and
how to ignite innovation. You will report to the Director of
Strategy & Planning, joining the Innovation & Strategy Services
team, delivering projects and experiences that amplify the
Electronic Systems Sector's performance. Required Education,
Experience, & Skills
Business or functional experience
across BAE Systems or similar Aerospace and Defense prime
contractor.10+ Years with BS 8+ Years with MS in engineering Proven
ability to influence and shape organic growth Technical experience
in one or more core technology areas for the Sector High performer
with the ability to work with others, and invested in personal and
professional development Active Secret security clearancePreferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
Existing customer and industry
relationshipsExperience with acquisitions and divestituresSubject
matter expertisePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $140690 -
$239140Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
