QUALITY



Adecco is currently assisting our local clients seeking an experienced with QUALITY for a small but rapidly growing company in the Newtown, CT, area. Quality candidates will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks within a manufacturing environment. If you meet the qualifications listed below please Apply Now!



Responsibilities for the Quality position include but are not limited to:


• Hands-on support for incoming inspection and production issues for current products


• Develop manufacturing process sheets and test procedures and support FAI for new production components


• Initiate and rationalize engineering changes for non conforming component issue and suggest changes for approval or rejection. Create and manage Non Conforming Product process


• Involvement with CAPA process and responsible for quality related CAPA?s


• Design of experiments to troubleshoot, indentify root cause, and resolve manufacturing issues for components


• Review and improve incoming inspection process, create sampling plans


• Responsible updates for Quality Manual for ISO 13485, reporting, training procedures, process sheets, QMS procedures/forms and other technical documentation


• Perform internal audits and assist in outside audits


• Visit vendors for compliance as necessary



Quality candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:


• 2-5 years experience in a similar manufacturing/quality position


• Knowledge of AS 9001, ISO 9001 and /or ISO 13485 preferred


• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written


• Knowledge of basic MS Word, and good working knowledge of Excel is required


• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and In Design a strong plus


• Ability to work independently for completion of required duties – excellent time management skills


• Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred but may not required based on exp


• Ability to read and interpret component/assembly drawing as needed
