Introduction to the jobThe Manufacturing Product Transfer
Manager will be responsible for assessing the current supplier
landscape and aligning this with Wilton Factories Strategic
portfolio vision. This role will play a critical part in developing
and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost optimization,
improve supply chain efficiency, and ensure a reliable and
high-quality supply of goods necessary for production. They will
work with internal cross sectors to align on long term technical
and customer roadmaps and then helping sourcing and procurement to
identify suppliers that share that same capabilities and visions of
the future. Focus of the work is on strategic continuous
improvement and operational excellence by managing and improving
volume process control, process optimization and supplier
development.Role and responsibilitiesThe candidate will evaluate
products for make / buy decisions, taking into account the
manufacturing competencies and cost or time to market for a
competitive advantage for ASML in technology. The ideal candidate
will possess a blend of technical sourcing expertise, supply chain
knowledge, and strong negotiation and relationship-building
skills.Help to drive the strategic long term planning and
manufacturing roadmap of ASML.Identify and establish outsourcing
projects. This includes preparing business cases, evaluating cost
initiatives, securing CAPEX and OPEX funding as well as necessary
support from cross-sectorsAssisting cross sectors to Identify,
evaluate, and select suppliers who meet the company's quality,
cost, and delivery requirements.Work with factory facilities
planning to review expansion plans and identify space and capacity
constraintsCommunicate clear plans to managementManage the cross
functional teamAbility to manage and motivate a team (strong team
leadership, performance management)Responsible for employee
development, coaching and mentoring skills to optimize the
performance of individualsClear reporting and escalation of issues/
barriers to senior managementEducation and experienceBS in a
technical field; engineering or sciences and 8+ years experience in
Project Leadership Role or Masters in related technical field with
5+ years of experience in Project Leadership5 years minimum
experience with internal/external customers at a technical and task
management levelExperience in building and maintaining strategic
relations with suppliersExperience in managing and coaching of
professionals in a production / operations environmentSkillsStrong
analytical skills, process oriented, business sense and capability
to develop vision and strategyExcellent communication skills,
interfacing and convincing on all levelsStrong negotiation skills
and able to influence at high level within matrix
organizationPro-active, act under high pressure and thinking out of
the boxDrive for solutions, result oriented, hands-on
mentalityExperience in new product introduction to a high volume
manufacturing environmentFamiliar with lean / six-sigma
manufacturing methodologiesProject Management skills and
experienceLeadership/People Management skillsOther informationThis
position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in
the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.).
