• Certification Details
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications are needed.
  • Job Details
  • Intensive Care Unit travel nurse needed for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP.
  • Looking for candidates with at least 3 years of ICU experience.
  • Responsibilities include working in a unit comprised of 17 beds, 11 telemetry beds, and 6 critical care beds.
  • The ICU/CCU accommodates two beds for vent patients.
    • Job Requirements
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
    • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut or eligibility for temporary license within 10-15 days.
    • Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
    • Current ACLS certification required.
    • Must demonstrate skill and efficiency in areas of procedure, equipment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation for hemodynamic monitoring.
      • Schedule Information
      • 36 hours guaranteed per week, may consider someone for 36-40 hours guaranteed per week.
      • Shifts are 7am to 7pm, every other weekend.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • It's a 6 bed ICU and the other 11 beds are straight telemetry.
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
          • NVCIT certification required within 3 months of hire.
          • Recognizes normal and abnormal cardiac monitoring patterns and implements an appropriate treatment process.
