The Danbury and New Milford Hospitals are seeking to build their team and are looking for experienced Nuclear Med Techs to rotate weekly between Danbury and New Milford. PRN rate is $52.50 and Part time and FT rates range from $45 - $56.26 depending on FULL years experience (0 - 15+ years of experience.) - -Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York - plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care. - Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates,Summary:Prepares and administers radio pharmaceuticals to detect and treat disease. -Responsibilities:1. Position equipment (gama cameras) over patients to make images that allows physicians to identify abnormal areas to help diagnosing illness.2. Explains tests to patients and administers radioactive doses by mouth or injection.3. Follows strict safety regulations due to dangers of radiation effects to patients' bodies and organs.4. Performs quality control on cameras.5. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.6.
