Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper medication administration, storage, and ordering.
• Obtain and document timely doctor's orders.
• Oversee medical appointments and review medical records.
• Develop and update nursing care plans and medical add-on documentation.
• Conduct monthly medication reviews and provide staff training (e.g., diabetes management, breathing apparatus use).
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist with direct care, including meals, recreation, and personal care.
• Participate in staff meetings and self-educate on relevant nursing and developmental disability topics.Why Join Us?

      Requirements:
      • Current RN license issued by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
      • 1 year of nursing experience preferred, including physical assessment and medication management.
      • At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
      • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to push, lift, and transfer individuals (over 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift with two assist and/or mechanical lifts.
      • Valid, insurable Maine driver's license (may be required).
      • Effective transportation to work sites within the Kennebec Valley region.
