• Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Clinician position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
• Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 3 months separation from employment.- 40 Hours/week, Full-time, Monday - Friday, Day shift -Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional(LMSW-CC) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)is requiredPosition SummaryClinical duties shall be directed toward the achievement of excellence in client care and will include:
  • conducting and documenting individual and family psychosocial assessments;
  • documenting the findings of evaluations and progress in clients' medical record;
  • conducting and documenting family and/or couples treatment of clients and their families;
  • maintaining contact with community resources for after care and providing comprehensive discharge planning services.
  • All services will be provided in a manner and language appropriate to the age and comprehensive level of the clients and their families.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMSW-CC (Licensed Master Social Worker, Conditional Clinical) or LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) required. State license to practice as a LADC and CADC as needed. Valid Driver's license if required for role.
  • Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred.
