*Summary*

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play an essential role in providing compassionate care to our residents. This position is vital in ensuring the health and well-being of our senior community, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional support throughout all stages of life. We are looking for per diem nurses who are willing to pick up 8 hour, 12 hour or 16 hour shifts.

*Responsibilities*
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Monitor and record vital signs and health status of residents.
* Assist with daily living activities, ensuring residents' comfort and dignity.
* Provide urgent care as needed, responding promptly to medical emergencies.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

*Qualifications*
* Valid LPN license in the state of Connecticut.
* Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and respond to changes in resident conditions.
* Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills for interacting with residents and families.
* Experience in memory care is beneficial but not required.
