  • Float Pool position at Eastern Maine Medical Center
  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Multispecialty Critical Care patients including Stroke, ICP monitoring, EVD Drains, spinal precautions, DKA, Sepsis, Multisystem trauma, COVID, STEMI, NSTEMI, Heart failure
  • ICU Float Pool RNs may float to ER Hold/Obs and care for MedSurg level patients
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of experience required
    • Neuro and Trauma experience is an absolute must
    • Charge experience preferred
      • Schedule Information
      • Weekend rotation: Every other
      • Day shift: Sat/Sun
      • Night shift: Fri/Sat
      • No RTO accepted for Holidays
      • Approval of RTO to go through manager
        • Unit Specific Information
        • CNA ratio: 1:10 days; 1:10 nights
        • Resource Nurse available 0700-1900 depending on unit
        • House Supervisor available 24/7
        • Intensivist available for consult 24/7
          • Additional Details
