Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor to help oversee clinic
operations and lead our team of Veterinary Technicians, &
Veterinary Assistants.

About the Role
As Veterinary Technician Supervisor, your responsibilities will
include:
Directing work flow on the floor
Cultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong
hospital culture
Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to
aid in the progression of the hospital
Help with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard
all new associates
Assists in the educational development of technicians and their
skills
Conduct staff meetings
Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand
experience
Mentoring technicians within the department
Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner
Refining and implementing protocols
Ensure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are
implemented by all members of the technical staff.
Being a Technician Supervisor means you are a believer in the
possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient
care-with the expertise and technical know-how to make them
happen.
Having mastered the entire range of vet tech skills yourself, you
are a role model for the team. You will work alongside our
Veterinarians, Hospital Manager, and Assistant Manager to provide
mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently and fosters a
winning environment.
Qualifications:
Credentialed Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT (FL CVT
Preferred)
5+ years of clinical experience
Team leadership experience
Passion for Veterinary Medicine
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
