offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses
with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered
Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience.Eligible
candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN
position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires
are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are
ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater
than 6 months' separation from employment.The Maine Health Cancer
Care Network is seeking a Nurse Navigator for ourThoracic
Surgeryprogram. The ideal candidate should have experience with a
desire to help patients.Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of
oncology experience, a passion for patient education, ability to
multitask, strong clinical and organizational skills andhave
excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Oncology
Certification is a plus. This is a 40-hour, day shift, Monday -
Friday Position working 5-8-hour shifts. There is no call and your
weekends are free!Summary:The Registered Nurse role guides patients
through the care continuum, establishing contact with recurrent and
newly diagnosed cancer patients and/or family members, or
caregivers. The Patient Navigator will understand the clinical
pathways established by the Oncology Program and will direct the
patients to health care services within the organization, at
outside facilities, and within the community for timely diagnosis,
treatment and survivorship.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities (KSAs)
