• Employment Type: Local ContractOur client is seeking to hire a Registered Nurse (Operating Room) for a reputable medical center in Guilford, CT. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with the potential for long-term placement!Job Function:
  
  • Day Shift.
    
  • 7am- 3:30pm.
    
  • Collect patient health information by asking diagnostic questions and documenting symptoms and medical history for physician review.
    
    
  • Monitor patients for changes in symptoms and respond promptly in emergency situations.
    
    
  • Administer medications, draw blood, and give vaccinations in accordance with clinical guidelines and safety protocols.
    
    
  • Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
    
    
  • Stay current on medical developments, regulations, drug therapies, equipment, and treatment procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

    Job Requirements:
    
    • 2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
      
    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
      
      
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of employment, or willingness to obtain.
      
      
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
