*Position: RN Unit manager- Infection Prevention & Control*

*Job Duties:*
* Develop, implement, and monitor the facility's Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) program in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
* Conduct surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and report findings to appropriate stakeholders
* Perform routine audits and inspections to ensure adherence to infection control protocols (e.g., hand hygiene, PPE usage, isolation practices)
* Educate staff, patients, and visitors on infection prevention strategies and procedures
* Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to investigate infection outbreaks and develop action plans
* Maintain documentation of infection control activities and policies
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to patient safety and infection prevention
* Stay current on CDC guidelines and state health department updates related to infectious diseases

*Requirements:*
* *Current and valid RN license in the applicable state*
* *Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience (infection control experience preferred)*
* *Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 - $64.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
