Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a current Lab Technician - Manufacturing job in Southington, CT. This is a long-term temporary opportunity with growth potential. Responsibilities for this Lab Technician - Manufacturing job include:

• Performs component/product dimensional and functional testing and inspection.

• Performs data entry and provides basic statistical analysis.

• Aids in the validation activities of equipment, processes and product.

• Provides support in troubleshooting and problem solving.

• Assembles prototype assemblies and product.

• Assists in the organization and maintenance of the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• At least a High School Diploma or equivalent.

• At least 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, technical or quality field or associates degree or college course work in related field.

• Experience with laboratory methods and analytical test equipment preferred.

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

• Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred.

• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software; MS Excel.

• Have mechanical hands-on ability, and strong technical, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Motivated individual with the ability to work well independently and with others.

We have openings on first shift (Monday - Friday from 7AM – 4:30PM).

Pay for this position is $12/hr plus overtime as needed. This is a long-term temporary opportunity with growth potential.
