Job Title: CT Technologist Job Specialty: CT Scan Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 36 Hours Variable Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: Open to travelers with 1-year experience, but preference for more License: ME State license Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) required Must-Have: Experience with CTA studies and general studies Job Description: - Conduct CT scans primarily for adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric/neonate cases. - Operate Siemens Edge, Force, and Definition CT equipment and Medrad injectors. - Work in care areas including the ED, outpatient, and inpatient settings. - Perform scans for various types of patients including oncology, general abdominal pain, post-surgical, and trauma. - Manage an average of 25-30 scans per day. - Biopsy experience is preferred but training will be provided if needed. - IV start skills are preferred. - Experience with Siemens equipment is an advantage. - Support available from lead techs, department administration, multiple CT techs for each shift, internal transport, and on-site radiologists. - Use Cerner for EMR and Enterprise Imaging AGFA for PACS. - Fixed location assignment with no floating to other areas.
