JOB DESCRIPTION:The Audiology Department at Fanny Allen campus is part of the outpatient Rehabilitation Therapies Department within the University of Vermont Medical Center. - The fully staffed team includes four Audiologists, two Audiology Assistants and scheduling support staff. - The clinical Audiologist position involves providing diagnostic audiologic evaluations as well as hearing aid services for patients of all ages. - The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively for collaboration with other departments and referral sources as well as to document effectively in the electronic medical record system. - EDUCATION:Master's Degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology. Must have either a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) or have American Board of Audiology (ABA) Certification. - Must possess or be eligible for current state licensure in Audiology. - Certifications must be maintained throughout tenure.EXPERIENCE:Some experience in a medical/hospital setting preferred.Pediatric experience is preferred.
