DEPARTMENT: Community and Home-Based Services
SUPERVISED BY: Director of Community and Home-Based Services or a
designee.
JOB SUMMARY:
As an IICAPS Clinician, you will be responsible for providing
comprehensive mental health services to children, parents, and
families in various settings. You will work as part of a team to
offer a range of interventions, such as therapy, crisis response,
intensive case management, consultation, advocacy, and linkages.
You will also collaborate with other professionals to provide the
best care and adhere to IICAPS credentialing requirements. Our

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the IICAPS Director and other supervisors
assigned by the Director.
Comply with all Yale IICAPS' requirements for model fidelity to
ensure quality services.
Conduct evaluations and help families and teams formulate treatment
goals and strategies.
Provide treatment for children, parents, and families in various
settings such as homes, communities, schools, and clinics.
Offer a range of therapeutic interventions, including child
therapy, parent therapy/guidance, couple therapy, family therapy,
crisis response, child-specific school consultation, case
management, advocacy, and concrete service delivery, focusing on
diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Maintain clinical records within the IICAPS BMS web-based system
and CCGC's Credible web-based electronic health record.
Meet deadlines for completing documentation.
Participate in supervision and case presentations.
Interface with CCGC medication prescribers and families.
Manage ongoing insurance authorizations for cases.
Contribute to special projects, such as consultation, prevention
programs, and community education, focusing on diversity, equity,
and inclusion.
Carry out other responsibilities assigned by a Director or
Executive Leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Hold a Master's Degree in Social Work or other Master's level
mental health degree with knowledge and experience in Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion.
Demonstrate expertise in assessment, crisis intervention, and child
and family therapy, focusing on diversity, equity, and
inclusion.
Have a solid commitment to your work and the ability to work
independently or as part of a team.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Meet current licensure requirements outlined by the state law in
each field.
Possess a valid Driver's License.
CREDENTIALING:
Be credentialed to provide diagnostic and treatment services to
children 0-18 and their families under the supervision of a
Licensed Clinician.
