Job Description:

The Business Development and Community Relations Specialist in the home inspection field is responsible for driving business growth and enhancing community engagement. This role involves identifying and cultivating relationships with potential clients, including real estate agents, homeowners, and local businesses, to establish a robust referral network. The specialist will also represent the company in community events and forums, promoting brand awareness and educational initiatives related to home inspections.



Key responsibilities include: conducting market research to identify opportunities for expansion, developing strategic partnerships, and implementing outreach programs to enhance community awareness of the importance of home inspections. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of the real estate market, and a passion for building relationships that foster trust and collaboration.



This position requires a proactive approach to networking, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to develop and execute marketing strategies highlighting the organization's services and expertise in home inspection. The Business Development and Community Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in establishing the company as a leader in the industry and contributing to its long-term success.

Responsibilities:
Performance Objectives:
--- Expand brand recognition and Norway Hill Home Inspections' sphere of influence. Generate new business and new leads with relationship marketing. Develop and implement marketing strategies to gain new business.
--- Provide existing and potential clients and realtors with unmatched services and professionalism.
--- Visit and deliver marketing material to real estate offices every week.
--- Attend social events and awards banquets to represent the Norway Hill Brand
--- Seek sponsorship and networking opportunities, and attend marketing events and sponsorships as requested.
--- Assist in developing and preparing marketing materials
--- Assist in giving Presentations (goal is to give a minimum of 2/month)
--- Think and game plan new marketing strategies.
--- Attend Meetings when requested.
--- Be coachable on existing marketing strategies and current business systems.
--- Conduct a minimum of 4 one-on-one meetings with stakeholders per month.
--- Follow up with one-on-one meetings with a set schedule.
--- Obtain video or photos for use on social media (goal is 2 per week)
--- Obtain presentation appointments at real estate offices and realtor events. (Minimum of 2 a month, subject to change.)
--- Attend 4 open houses per month
--- TAP Notes (Thanks and Appreciation notes) - 3-5 per week
--- One-on-one meeting with new agents - Goal: 1 per week
--- One-on-one meeting with agents currently using us - Goal: 1 per week
--- One-on-one meeting with agents that have used us in the past, but have not recently - Goal: 1 per week

Qualifications:
--- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct oneself with professionalism and diplomacy at all times; the ability to self-start and work independently.
--- Strong Time Management Skills.
--- Calendar Management Skills.
--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
--- Experience working on a PC laptop as well as an iPad.
--- High school diploma or GED.
--- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for commercial policy insurance.
--- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
--- Acceptance and signature on Agreements of Non-Competition and Non-Disclosure.
--- Travel: Some travel out of state may be required. Offices located in NH and Vermont.

Our company operates in NH and Vermont and is growing rapidly. In 2024, in a declining real estate market, we were able to pick up a 3% market share, and we are looking to add two more inspectors this year.

We provide many inspection services, including home, septic, chimney, lead, water, radar, mold, and renovation consulting services. We are the only inspection company in our space that offers all these services under one roof.
