*Job Overview*Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate CT Technologist to join their healthcare team for a 13-week travel contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The CT Technologist will ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering precise diagnostic evaluations.*Duties** Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.* Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring they understand the process and addressing any concerns.* Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.* Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.* Maintain and operate CT equipment, performing routine quality control checks to ensure optimal performance.* Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant observations in accordance with medical protocols.* Adhere to safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.*Requirements** BLS* ARRT (R) (CT) required* ME State licenseSkills required:CTA studies, Experience with general studiesIV start skills (preferred)Biopsy exp (preferred)Experience with Toshiba and GE (preferred)Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $3,000.00 - $3,239.00 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Referral program* Relocation assistance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shiftAbility to Commute:* Presque Isle, ME 04769 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Presque Isle, ME 04769: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
