Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate CT Technologist to join their healthcare team for a 13-week travel contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The CT Technologist will ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering precise diagnostic evaluations.

*Duties*
* Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
* Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring they understand the process and addressing any concerns.
* Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.
* Maintain and operate CT equipment, performing routine quality control checks to ensure optimal performance.
* Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant observations in accordance with medical protocols.
* Adhere to safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.

*Requirements*
* BLS
* ARRT (R) (CT) required
* ME State license

Skills required:
CTA studies, Experience with general studies
IV start skills (preferred)
Biopsy exp (preferred)
Experience with Toshiba and GE (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,239.00 per week
