Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our company as a Shipping and Receiving Associate. As part of our team, you assist with overseeing and documenting the receiving of packages, parcels, and supplies, store items in the appropriate areas, and inspect and prepare items for shipping. This is a position that requires a highly organized personality. You must pay close attention to small details while managing the logistics of a high volume of items entering and leaving the facility. You must be able to lift up to twenty pounds unaided and be able to bend, crouch, and lift items throughout your shift. Responsibilities: Receive, upload, and process incoming shipments; Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders; Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; Organize and store received items in designated storage areas; Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed; Assist with order fulfillment by picking and packing items for outgoing shipments; Maintain a clearly organized workspace Requirements and Experience: Forklift experience and certification Exceptional organizational skills Prior warehouse experience (preferred) Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8-hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Bantam, CT 06750: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $20 - $25 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
