This position is for a Senior Module Production Engineer with
innovative attitude to work in the Production Engineering
department in Wilton Factory. Candidate will work with
cross-sectors employees to develop new manufacturing processes for
new product introduction and improve existing processes for volume
production and will be a mentor for the broader production
engineering team
Education and experience
Bachelors Degree in an engineering field with 6+ years of
manufacturing or production experience
Masters Degree in a engineering field with 4+ years of experience
in a manufacturing or production environment
Role and responsibilities
-Driving the industrialization of our systems with a cross sector
approach for design and maturity
-Will be contributing to system level KPIs regarding availability,
reliability, Cycle time and Costs
-Leading and mentoring junior Module production engineers
- Support in-production issues escalated by FLS with concise
troubleshooting and action plans.
-assisting in the design of engineering solutions and the
validation process to enable the realization of a design brief
- Drive process improvement initiatives and cycle time
reduction.
- Review failure analysis reports from suppliers and help validate
the root-cause of the failure.
-Interface with internal and external customers to address module
failure root cause analysis and corrective actions.
-Structural trouble shooting capabilities on a functional level and
managing technical uncertainties at a sub-module level
-developing creative solutions to solve uncertainties in
production
-owning responsible for customer problems and coming up with
solutions for specific issues
-developing technical concepts including material choices using
team input, design architecture
-preparing high level design of the sub-module fulfilling the
requirements set while addressing architectural and interface
choices
-Integrate sub-systems and execute configuration management and
provide support to projects
-Perform verification of SDS, verify design specifications from
team members and contribute to the testing process
