Job Description:

*Total Joint (Knee/Hip) Orthopedic Physician Assistant needed for a full-time position with an Orthopedic group in Niantic, Connecticut.* The Physician Assistant will work with one Total Joint Surgeon to provide OR First Assist and Outpatient Clinic services to orthopedic patients. Strong new graduate Physician Assistants will be considered. Hiring as of 3/31/2025.

*Physician Assistant - Roles - Responsibilities:*
* Provide outpatient consults, post-surgical follow ups, and injections at 1 location in Niantic, Connecticut.
* Provide First Assist OR - Floor Rounding services at 1 hospital in New London, CT.
* Work within the following sub-specialty areas: Orthopedic Total Joint / Knee / Hip / Joint Replacement.
* Order and interpret images, including MRI and XRay.
* Prescribe medication as necessary and/or as directed.
* Provide education to patients and family.
* Utilize and become proficient in EMR (Electronic Medical Records).

*Days - Hours - Compensation - Benefits:*
* 40 hrs/week. Monday - Friday
* No Nights or Weekends
* Some call may be required

Pay: $124,500.00 - $168,500.00 per year
